Does QCTests perform the laboratory testing?
No. Testing is performed by a selected third-party laboratory. QCTests coordinates the project and issues a traceable COA based on the laboratory-reported results.
Which laboratory will test my sample?
The selected laboratory depends on the sample, method, reporting requirements, budget and turnaround. Its identity and the agreed scope are confirmed in the project quotation before testing.
Can laboratory qualifications be provided?
Where applicable and available for the selected method, supporting laboratory qualification information can be provided during project confirmation. QCTests does not display qualification logos without authorization.
How much sample is required?
Requirements vary by method and sample form. For peptide projects, a common starting point is at least 10 mg of lyophilized powder or 2 mL of liquid, but the final requirement must be confirmed before shipping.
How long does testing take?
Typical timing depends on the selected laboratory and test panel. A specific estimate is provided with the quotation and begins after the laboratory receives an acceptable sample.
Will I receive raw chromatograms or the original laboratory report?
Available source files and raw data depend on the selected service. Required deliverables should be confirmed before testing. The public verification page never exposes these private files.
Do I need to register?
No. Registration is optional and is not required to request testing or receive a COA directly. An account is useful only when QCTests has linked certificates to that portal.
What does online COA verification prove?
It confirms that the displayed certificate data and status match the QCTests issuance record. It does not replace the complete private COA or the original laboratory report.
Are certificates publicly searchable?
No. QCTests has no public certificate directory. A certificate number and private verification code, or its QR verification link, are required.
What happens if a certificate is corrected or withdrawn?
The record can be marked superseded or revoked. The verification page then shows that current status instead of presenting the old certificate as active.
